The creator of Fidget Spinner, a Florida woman named Catherine Hettinger, was quoted by the New York Post as saying that the initial idea of ​​making this toy in the 80s was when she saw a boy throwing police at Israel. He is looking for ways to distract the youngster and give them something that can release energy. Initially he will make a soft rock that can be thrown children, but then he develops Fidget Spinner. A toy that finally became popular after 20 years was created and can be a tool to help people with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). ADHD abnormalities are a developmental disorder in the increase in motor activity of children to cause unusual and overwhelming children's activity.

Then in 1997, Catherine Hettinger registered the Fidget Spinner patent. He then tried to include his homemade toys to several companies, including the famous American toy factory, Hasbro. But unfortunately, they refused and in the next attempt no one wants to produce homemade toys. The patent finally expired in 2005 because he could not afford the patent extension fee.
